Cody Country Art League Annual Art show 1st place amateur division

These works of art require time, patience and many stamps. The cancelled stamps are sorted, colors selected and then cut into tiny pieces to create an image. Each piece needs hours and hours of time to complete.

"It's the thrill of chasing and trying to capture that elusive light, be it in photography, watercolor, or collage that excites me. What a challenge it is to take the photo, put down color with a brush or colored inks of stamp cuttings and have the light appear."
