The director
and owner of the Riverrun Center is Joan Molloy Slack, who has
been a professional artist and teacher for the past 25 years. The
Center has been a dream for the past 10 years, with the goal of
bringing teachers and students together in a creative and exciting
atmosphere. Providing an exhibit area for artists' shows as well
as an opportunity for a regional overview of fine art and craft
is also a goal. See the course schedule for more information about
the Director and teachers, and the section on River Run Pottery
to learn more about Joan's work, her wood-fired pottery and sculpture,
and her inspirations.
RIVERRUN CENTER FOR THE ARTS is an Arts Education Center dedicated
to the teaching and appreciation of the fine arts and traditional
crafts, and to providing opportunities for community involvement
in arts related activities.
