Judy Morris earned
B.S. and M.S. degrees in art education from Southern Oregon
College (now Southern Oregon University) in Ashland, Oregon.
She taught art at South Medford High School for thirty years
before retiring in 1996 to become a full time professional
watercolorist.
In the last decade Morris has conducted painting workshops
on locations throughout the country and in Canada, Mexico,
England, Switzerland, Italy and France. Her paintings have
received more than forty national and regional awards and
have been included in exhibitions sponsored by the American
Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Midwest Watercolor
Society, Northwest Watercolor Society, Watercolor West,
Rocky Mountain National, Knickerbocker Artists, Adirondacks
National Exhibition of American Watercolors, Watercolor Society
of Oregon, Louisiana Watercolor Society, Texas Watercolor
Society, Art-USA,
WASH (Watercolor Art Society of Houston),The Salmagundi Club,
New York, and the Arizona Aqueous. |
